Ajax Systems only grants the status "Authorized Installation Company" to specialist companies whose technicians have completed the Ajax training and who plan, install and maintain systems according to manufacturer specifications. For you that means: manufacturer warranty, access to Ajax PRO support and a system that is set up the way it is meant to be.

EN 50131 Grade 2 and Grade 3

The European standard for intrusion and hold-up alarm systems. The Ajax devices we install are certified according to EN 50131 Grade 2, the Superior line according to Grade 3. That is the class police and insurers expect for private homes and businesses. Certificates from the testing bodies are available for every device and are included in your documentation.

Grade 2
Apartments, detached houses, offices, practices, small businesses.
Grade 3
Properties with high values, insurer requirements, businesses with warehouses.
Tamper protection

We plan, install and maintain smoke alarms according to DIN 14676, the standard the smoke alarm obligation in Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg refers to. The detectors themselves are tested according to EN 14604. For commercial properties we work with components of the EN 54 line and coordinate fire alarm systems according to DIN 14675 with the fire protection concept and the authority.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about certificates and standards.

What does "Ajax Authorized Installation Company" mean?

A specialist company checked and trained by the manufacturer that may plan, install and maintain Ajax systems and has access to manufacturer support. Only authorised companies appear in the Ajax partner search.

Is the system VdS-approved?

Ajax devices are certified according to EN 50131 by independent European testing bodies. If your insurer explicitly requires VdS approval, we clarify this before planning and check whether the Superior line is accepted.

Do I get a certificate for my insurer?

Yes. Handover includes system documentation with detector plan, device certificates according to EN 50131 and installer evidence. Many insurers grant a discount with it.
