The decisive quantity is the time between outbreak and warning. Interconnected detectors shorten it because the detector in the basement also triggers the siren in the bedroom.
We plan the choice of detectors by room use: not smoke everywhere, not heat everywhere, and CO only where combustion takes place.

Questions about fire protection.
Are smoke alarms mandatory in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg?
Yes, in all three states for all homes: in bedrooms, children's rooms and hallways that serve as escape routes. The owner is responsible for installation, for operational readiness the tenant in Hesse and Baden-Württemberg and the owner in Rhineland-Palatinate.
What do interconnected smoke detectors offer over simple ones?
If one detector triggers, all the others alert too. The fire in the basement wakes you in the bedroom. In addition you receive a push notification even when nobody is at home, and you see faults and battery level in the app.
What does equipping a house cost?
Five to seven interconnected Ajax detectors with hub and installation start at around €1,200. If you already have an Ajax alarm system, only the detectors are added.
Do I need a fire alarm system as a business?
That is determined by the fire protection concept or the building permit. Many businesses do not need a fire alarm system according to DIN 14675 but benefit from an interconnected fire warning system. We clarify this with you and the responsible authority.
